embracing uncertainty

Unfortunately, I am leaving America...
After over 5 years: Two in Germany and three in the USA, grinding and chasing the American dream, I am taking an extended leave from school and work and i have left the USA
My friend from Beverly hills would say "𝘪 𝘢𝘮 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧", but honestly I know exactly who i am and what i want but i just want to take some time to reevaluate my priorities and reflect on what 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 means to me.
Words can not explain how grateful i am for the opportunities America has opened for me; From millions of dollars in scholarships to lucrative job opportunities that young me from a remote village in East Africa could only daydream about.
For years I have chased 𝚎̲𝚡̲𝚌̲𝚎̲𝚕̲𝚕̲𝚎̲𝚗̲𝚌̲𝚎̲ and 𝚙̲𝚛̲𝚎̲𝚜̲𝚝̲𝚒̲𝚐̲𝚎̲ -- The next big internship, the next big fellowship the next big job offer, the next dopamine hit... Partly motivated by selfish desires, but mostly motivated by the desire to uplift my brothers and sisters from the so-called 3rd world countries.
Last week I landed back in my home country of Tanzania, and although a lot of things have stayed the same since i left over 5 years ago, quite a bit have changed too.
I feel very uncertain...
But i love feeling uncertain, i thrive in uncertainty and given enough time i hope to convert this currency of uncertainty into a more meaningful currency... Because I believe in physics and energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, can only be transformed from one form to another
To my professors, friends, advisors, co-workers, managers, employers, et al. Thank you!
I will spend a lot of time volunteering through teKsafari and writing on ixv.sh/entries. So if you are in Tanzania and want to connect I will be very available.
The future remains exciting 🫡
